Victim of assault

Me and my 2 children were at a park when my son accidentally broke someone's child's sippy cup. The altercation quickly became uncontrollable, I was smacked in the face and I defended myself. Her boyfriend punched me in the face causing me to have 2 fracture in my jaw. I had surgery getting my jaw wired shut as well as metal plates an screws. I am home recovering now but I lost my job, and unable to work for six weeks.
