Mavis's Singing goes Viral

So my mum at 88 years of age has gone viral with her beautiful rendition of 'Somewhere over the rainbow' . Gill, Mums activities Carer recorded Mum and sent it to me. It blew me away, not only because Mum knew the words but she looked so happy, a real sparkle in her eyes and of course that wonderful smile. Mum developed vascular dementia two years ago and we as a family had to make the tough decision of finding her a home. We chose Birch Green Nursing Home in Skelmersdale and it was the best decision. The Staff are amazing , the home is welcoming , it is a happy place to be. So I decided to share Mums video to show that care homes can be wonderful places. I have received so many messages of support and offers of help to make the residents happy. I have decided to raise money to purchase a brand new music system, microphones and AMP along with a few musical instruments.
