WMA 2018 Malaga



Hello, my name is Clinton Aurelien. I am a Masters Track and Field Athlete who competes mainly in the 100M and 200M sprint discipline on the National and International level. My Masters Track & Field career started in 2005 with Team USA, where I competed in my first event (400M in Hawaii). Since that time, I’ve competed in five world Championships and have been successful at all. I have competed in several countries from Canada to Brazil, South Korea to Australia, Italy to France just to name a few.



Track Accomplishments:
-100m national champion (2012)
-current silver medalist world championship (Australia 2016)
-former world record holder M 50 4X400m (2016  indoors, Melrose Games)
-currently Ranked 4th in the World 100M and 5th 200M
-silver medal 100M (2017) @National Championship
-bronze medal 200M (2017) @ National Championship
 -4X100M Relay meet Record, Championships of the Americas and the Caribbean (2017)
  


Why do I need assistance:
I was not sucessful in securing sponsorship for the 2018 Track  & Field season. Funding for these Championships will mainly come from fund raising ideas, local sponsorships and out of pocket. This year World Championships will be in Malaga Spain commencing September 4 thru the 16th. The road to Malaga seems like a dream without the funding needed to make it a reality. For that reason, I’m soliciting your prayers and financial support.

What do I need assistance for:
There are 3 major Championship meets which I’m expected to compete in:
-Nationals outdoors 
July, 2018 Spokane, Washington    (www.usatf.org/Masters.aspx )
-Regionals outdoors
July, 2018 Worcester, MA
-World Outdoor Masters Championships
September 4-17, 2018 Malaga Spain (www.malaga2018.com)

Your donations will go towards:
-Uniforms/Gear... most USA uniforms are free, but my club uniforms are not...training and track shoes... $500
-Travel- air and land...airfare for my three major meets plus ground transportation will cost $3300
-Hotel accommodation... my hotel stay for regular rooms   for all three major events and developmental meets $2200
-Registration... each track meet has general registration and event fees (varies on the number of events competed) $450
-Training meets... In preparation for each major meet there are small developmental meets mainly contested   as time trials and specific training technique executions   $750



The total cost for my 2018 season is $7200.  A contribution of $50 or $100 would be great, but any amount would help me reach my goal!
