The Kathaus 10 x10 ft acclimation enclosure is completed but we still need help with food costs, litter, flea meds, etc to keep them healthy & happier!
Currently, I am unemployed & in college@FSCJ one more term & in need now more than ever of some financial support to continue my efforts helping these cats I have been caring for ( some have been with me 5 years already wow time flies!) I am grateful for any help that any of you can give to help me continue giving these homeless cats healthier & all around better lives.
Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help with half of the costs to build the KatHaus acclimation enclosure to help our homeless cat colonies who were in danger due to hateful people.
You people who help us and show hearts for the homeless/abandoned domestic cats are awesome and you all restore my faith in humankind, seriously.
We have started to relocate the 2 small colonies (6-7 cats @each spot) because we must!
The cats who have been relocated are doing great & LOVE LOVE LOVE their new home thanks to all of you kind, generous people who care.
Any amount of dollars you give to this gofundme fund raiser (thanks mew thanks mew) is all for the cats 100% fully-
Our goal is basically equal to covering through years end on food and some litter for the acclimation enclosure & 3 small colonies (about 41 strange coinkydink is this #is my age#).
I have dedicated my life these last 5 years to helping & advocating for the homeless/abandoned cats as it's also part of my own growth process & recovery, identifying with self & selflessness, learning about sacrifice & responsibility as well, finding purpose & love in ways i never truly knew or understood growing up.
I gotta follow through even when times seems to be stormy weird weather. This is suppose to be short, condensed but so much needs to be shared sometimes. Love. Sharing Love.
Also, Please & Thanks you If you wish to donate food for the kitty cats or other items such as towels, blankets, toys, etc then this can be done by simply messaging me thru email here or Facebook.
Thank you all so much.
These cats are friends & believe me -trust-when they look into your eyes meowing at you speaking to your heart & soul saying "meow, hello friend- you are a friend please help me, help me", how can anyone NOT help these cats if it is within their means to do so?
Even when it's not within my means financially I have this crazy strong will to provide & make it happen for these cats sake when some other people may just give up...
Here I am (again) swallowing pride & admitting i need help to help others.
I am reaching out to others believing strongly because i KNOW that there are some other people who do care and that others who actually DO have current means may care enough to see sharing a few of their dollars to help me to continue my work as a volunteer caring and advocating for the homeless cats in my colony.
All of you good people have made so much awesomeness happen to help us make this all happen in helping so many of our homeless/abandoned cats in the past. Why should I believe it is any different now? Smiles. Love & Blessings to you all. Kindness is contagious. Thank you.
I represent a Community Cat Advocates small grassroots movement & not a rescue group or 501c3 (maybe one day--dreams) although we have been fortunate to find homes for more than a few dozen friendlier, abandoned strays who have come our way over the days these 3 years past. It is amazing what a handful of people can do good when they really try and have the will to make miracles occur.
We aim to be a positive voice for the homeless cats in our neighborhoods & all about the community & to help them with TLC plus "feeding & fixings" but also by educating and connecting people around us and spreading the good word about the resources available in our community.
We are fortunate to have free &/or very low cost spay/neuter and wellness care @First Coast No More Homeless Pets located here in Jax, Fl plus Feral Freedom community cat program written into our city ordinances.
I found myself forced to move the colonies for a few reasons although primarily & sadly. because of very mean, thoughtless, cruel people constantly being hateful, threatening me and the cats; even resorting to running over our cat friends to kill them (4 RiP Sweet Kitty Loves we lost) plus allowing dogs to harm them repeatedly.
Hard to believe? Probably not if you know how some people can be.
My Father did an amazing job on the enclosure AKA "KatHouse" as such a skilled builder would do. The cats love it and 4 of them have been in the new home over 4 weeks now.
We have the acclimation enclosure for the cats i care for built on private/family property where i can feed & visit the cats ANYTIME in a nice, safe, comfortable environment.
It's been a few months since i put a pitch in fund raiser up for anyone who wishes to give to help these awesome homeless/abandoned cats who don't have families.
Music for Meows is not until Mar & this will be year #4!
So Exciting this event has grown to point where people are already asking when the next one is!
The animals very much need us to be aware & responsible and they are all so very grateful for this. I have seen it too many times with both cats and dogs.
This is a beautiful kind of love.
Thanks for being a part of sharing the Love and caring about those who are often overlooked and passed by or even surrendered to the streets by people who don't look back.
Those of you who do believe they can have better lives are the ones who really make it happen one person and one cat at a time.
Keep sharing the good love.
Thank you all so much.
Words can never fully express the gratitude I feel when you all share to show you care and how much it touches my heart to have people near me of this beautiful sort.
The cats say thanks meowy meowy much to mew all.
