Gabriel Rory's Transition Fund

I'm rehauling this whole thing since so much has changed, but here are the basics.

Hi! I'm Gabriel. You know me by another name, most likely. I say that because I've gone by so many names and still do that it's impossible to pin me down as just one. Dante, Rory, Seamus. Trust me, you probably know me by at least two names.

I'm a 21-year-old trans man living in the Pacific Northwest. When I originally created this fundraiser, it was for life expenses and primarily transition. After I moved out of my parents' house, I ended up using almost everything from the donations here for life expenses - many of which I only had because my roommate at the time didn't share in many expenses that needed to be shared.

So I'm back down to square one again. On the plus side, what I make at my current job is enough to live on, especially now that I'm with my parents again and can save more money that way. 

The negative side is that it's living expenses or transitioning. Not both. My current wages can only cover one.

So I'm revamping and rehauling this in the hopes that I can get back on track and start saving for top surgery again. I'm just barely managing to stay afloat with testosterone expenses: right now, it's just a matter of saving up for surgery and hopefully finding an insurance that will help cover that so I don't have to earn quite as much.

This time around, whatever I earn will be going toward transition. Nothing else. In the future, it might go toward moving into a new apartment, but I'll let people know if we reach that point.

So yeah. I think that's about it. I'll probably be back with more updates again soon, but for now, I gotta go to work. Thank you to anyone who offers a helping hand; it doesn't matter whether you've donated or just shared this link to help get the word out, I really appreciate it regardless.
