STOP Susana & Sayra's Deportation!

Dear supporters, Very sadly this last appeal was denied by ICE and the family is on their way to their 8:45am flight at the airport. Because of you all we raised MORE than the remainder of legal fees and roughly half of EACH DONATION will go directly to the family. Emergency update—please help Susana & Sayra Stay in Our Codmmunity!

STOP the deportation of Susana Bernabe-Ramirez and her daughter, Sayra, who are now scheduled to be deported on THIS Friday, August 26th. Their latest appeal was denied even though their Neurologist personally pleaded for humanitarian intervention, as it could be life-threatening to Isabella. We are making one last legal effort with a renowned firm but it will cost several thousand dollars that the family does not have. Please contribute whatever you can today or tomorrow to give us our best last shot—these have been stopped on the tarmac before!

Background: Susana & Sayra have been in the U.S. for more than 10 years. Susana would leave behind an 11-year old U.S. citizen daughter, Isabela, who has epilepsy, a condition that is worsened by emotional stress and requires excellent medical care and parental supervision.
