Thank you for the outpouring of support toward the Schwab family during this incredibly difficult time.

The GoFundMe campaign has far exceeded the goal to provide for the funeral arrangements the family is now facing, so we are putting an end to this campaign.

The Schwab family has a difficult journey ahead of them.

Many still want to contribute to the Schwab family so a memorial fund has be set up at the link below:

Message from the family:

Michele and I want to thank the Olathe, and Kansas City, KS communities and all our friends and family for their out pouring of support and compassion as it relates to the sudden loss of our son Caleb Thomas Schwab.

Since the day he was born he brought abundant joy to our family and all those who he came in contact with. As we try and mend our home with him no longer with us, we are in comfort knowing he believed in his Savior, Jesus, and they are forever together now. We will see him another day.

-Scott Schwab

The funds raised will be used for funeral expenses in the upcoming days.

The Schwab's are a part of the LifeMission Church family. Pastor Clint Sprague of LifeMission Church, requested the set-up of this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of the family to help the with the unexpected funeral expenses. Michael Persaud, a volunteer in the church's elementary class, responded to set up the campaign on gofundme.com.

The GoFundMe campaign account is directed to go to Scott Schwab, Caleb's father, so the Schwab family can use it when the time comes for expenses in regard to the funeral. Only Scott is able to withdraw the funds.

The goal amount was set after looking into a cost for a funeral in the area.
