As Tournament Director of the Omega Billiards Tour, we are asking for your help to help Omega player and Dallas/Fort Worth long-time-local player and resident, Dave Favor.
Dave found out in July he has throat cancer. On August 24th, he got a feeding tube and port hole. He starts chemo this week, and then radiation in two week.s
Dave lives out of his van, but he needs a better place to stay to help with his medical situation. He needs a/c, electricity to run the pump for 12 hours, and needs a good place to stay so he doesn't get any infections.
I am trying to raise money for 5 months of a hotel for Dave, to help him in this time of need. ALL money will go to the hotel. I will pay for the room myself with the funds raised and will keep all receipts. ($260 a week for 5 months is about 5K)
Dave needs us. I'm hoping the billiard family can help out. Even if you can only give $20, it will go a long way.
