This Go Fund Me Campaign was suggested by friends - they even offered to set it up for me. I thought I should do it for myself.
I have stage 4 bilobar liver cancer,Metastatic Adenocarcinoma of unknown origin. The doctors have given me just months to live.
Hope was high in January when the PET/CT scan showed the cancer only in the right lobe of my liver. These hopes vanished during surgery on January 26th when the doctors attempted a resection of my liver to remove the cancer. After surgery, the doctors informed me that the cancer had already spread to the left lobe of my liver as well as the lymph nodes. Resectioning would not be of benefit and was, therefore, not performed.
The only hope the doctors have given me is chemotherapy, which they say may extend my life by a year.
I am 58 years old and have been blessed greatly in this life. I have three grown children and my daughter just became a mother with the birth of my third grandchild Freya Luna.
With so little time and chemotherapy the only option my insurance company is offering, I am desperatly seeking financial support to reach other treatment options.
