My Mom needs heart surgery

Last week my Mom had a stroke and completely lost her eye sight in her right eye. As a result, she was admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital and had multiple diagnostic tests to try to find out where the clot came from.  The docs hoped of preventing any further stroke activity that could potentially cause an even worse outcome to include, losing functionality of 1 or all limbs, verbal ability, loss of vision in the other eye, brain damage or even death. After the MRI's, Cat Scans, Ultrasounds, EKG's, TEE'S, Several vials of blood, etc..., It was determined that she has a hole in her heart that the cardiologist would like to close as to prevent further damage. Sadly, the surgery could not be performed immediately, because, she needs to be on a blood thinning therapy until such time it is safe to operate. As a rule, most surgeries require the opposite, making sure the blood is not too thin, however, because it's a hole in the heart, they do not want to run the risk of clotting, as that would cause even bigger problems. Therefore, she was discharged and will need to go back for the surgery. Therein lies the problem, she does not have health insurance, nor does she qualify for medicare quite yet, as she is a young 64 years old. Because she is not admitted, she is being required to put down a deposit for the surgery. She only makes $600 per month in social security, she just doesn't have it and neither do I. It has been easily the hardest year on our family, financially speaking, of our entire lives. I know there are so many others struggling as well, my heart goes out to you all, I know firsthand just how stressful things can be. On top of this situation, my Mom is also just about to lose our family home of 30+ years for property taxes. Reducing stress is a big factor of keeping her safe before they can operate, but, it's hard not to be upset about losing your home of 30 years that you have put so much love into, so many babies brought home after their births,  grandparents passing there, birthday parties, graduation parties, family BBQ's, Lots of Holiday gatherings, a home to many family members and friends during their own hard times  etc...We have until May 30th to come up with $5000, or her home will no longer be her home. My husband and I do have some money coming in the first week of September, but, we're unable to access it until then. We have reached out to all of our family and friends to ask them for a short term loan that I would be happy to pay back, with interest, but, nobody can help. I even posted on craigslist that if a private lender could lend us the $10,000., I would pay it back in September in full, along with an extra $5,000., just for doing the deal. Unfortunately, the only responses I got were from con artists asking for an upfront fee in order to lend the money, which didn't seem right to me, as most people asking for a loan are unlikely to have money to put out for some kind of preloan fee. So, this is my last ditch effort to try to come up with the money my Mom needs to have her surgery and we will simply have to accept that her home could be potentially lost, but, her life and the quality of it, is so important to me, it's like knowing that I will watch my Mother either become debilitated or worse pass away of a major heart attack or aneurysm to the brain. I can't just not try, I can't just give up, because to me, it'd be like giving up on her life, she's my Mom, she is the mother to myself and my brother, Mark, the grandmother to 5 grandchildren and the great grandmother to 7 great grandbabies and she is only 64. If you're able to help, absolutely anything you can do will be so very much appreciated, I would be forever grateful. I know there are so many people that have their own struggles and I completely understand, truly, I do. If anyone who comes across this knows of someone who would like to lend the money and make money on lending, I have the ability to pay it back September 2016.
