Hi, I'm Ringor Mortis. I'm a 20 year old freelance artist and aspiring indie game developer. I have Major Depressive Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, and PTSD, along with chronic back pain. I've been jumping around from place to place for about a year now. Returning to my biological family on the East Coast is out of the question due to abusive family history. I am working very hard with the skillset I have and to the best of my abilities, doing commission work to keep myself afloat.
My adoptive brother is Roman Mortis. He's a 19 year old trans man and a freelance artist who works with most forms of digital art. He has Dissociative Identity Disorder, Depression, PTSD, and most likely Schizotypal Personality Disorder. Roman is currently studying to get his GED so he can get a job to support both of us, and to leave his neglectful and emotionally abusive family, mainly an alcoholic mother.
EDIT AUGUST 8TH, 2016:
So, the plan's changed. Things with Roman's family have gotten significantly worse over time, and I've received information that if I don't have a place by November/December, I'll be on the streets again. We need to get Roman out of there, and while we have a new plan that'll cost less and is way less of a gamble, it still costs more money than we have.
We've been given a motorhome by my generous friend Nico- it's almost in working condition, but we've got some fees to pay to get it legally on the road again. If we can get this up and running and get our licenses, we would have a home no one could take away from us, and have a place to stay as well as a vehicle until we get on disability. On top of those back fees, we have two even more immediate concerns: My laptop has fatally broken, and Roman needs to get out of Georgia.
Here's our new fees:
$100-120: Rin's new laptop (Got a bit saved up)
$300: Roman's plane ticket
$1000+: Getting the rig on the road again
It's a lot of money, but it's a plan that'll work if we can get this initial capital down. Getting this money would ensure we would be able to break free from our abusive families and become independent adults. We need this new life.
