Hi, I'm Jane and I'm living with stage 4 cancer (terminal) which affects my mobility as it's in my spine and pelvis and casues pain on a daily basis. However I have recently discovered a new passion which is wheelchair tennis, it's so empowering to find that I can participate in a sport without it affecting my health too much.
The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust will hopefully provide me with a Matchpoint Quickie Aluminium tennis specific wheelchair. For this each applicant is required to
raise a deposit of £800 and the Trust will offer a grant
of £1,465 (£2,265 in total)
To raise this much needed money would mean so much to me and it would open up a whole new other world of sport which I love.
