Good day,
My Name is Brian Woodhouse, I've created this page in hopes of helping a good friend and his family through a tragedy that hits far too close to home with my own.
Next week the 6 week long trial for those accused in the murder of Lukas Strasser-Hird begins, even while one of those responsible remains at large on the run.
Lucas' father Dale, as well as other family members now face the second most horrific time of their lives as they endure 6 weeks of trial in the pursuit of justice and trying to maintain a life in the process. My family knows first hand exactly how hard this can be not only emotionally, but physically and most importantly financially. Dale, the main provider for the family will now be forced to take an extended leave from work to seek justice for his son and this is a toll that no one should have to bear alone.
I know exactly what this can do to a person, having exhausted my entire savings, maxed credit cards and even lost our home in our quest for justice I now turn to you, friends family and total strangers in the hope that we can band together to help ease the burden on this family.
When you look at the fact the just parking alone will total over $1000, ( avg $35/day x 6 weeks ) Literally anything and everything you can offer WILL HELP!
I know first hand exactly what this process does to a man and to a family and I don't know where my family would be today if not for the help we received and now it's my chance to pay that forward.
