Sensory Movie Day's Christmas Party

My name is Katie and as a mother of a child on the autism spectrum I have found it difficult to find events that I am able to take my son to without judgement in the community. 

That is why I started Sensory Movie Day Mackay.
Sensory screenings are for all abilities of all ages.
Sensory screenings a different from regular screenings as we have volunteers sitting at all exits so parents don't need to worry about their children running off, children are free to move around the cinema as they please, the lights stay on and  the volume is lowered and can be adjusted if it is still upsetting to anyone.

As Sensory Movie Day Mackay is run by two mothers voluntarily, we need help raising money for our Christmas movie day so Santa can come visit all our special kids and hand out gifts, the money raised will go towards Santa and costume, gifts and wrapping paper.
This is something we have done for the past two years, however with the Mackay community struggling as it is, it is hard to find support for donations, so any help no matter how small would be greatly appreciated by us and by our SMD families
