Christmas Is Near And I Need You!

I am so incredibly blessed to not only have survived the last 40 years, but to have such incredible people surround me in the process. Thank you for the birthday wishes, but more importantly, thank you for sticking around while I live this life. You friends make it all worth while. And the maturity that this lovely life of mine has given me has opened my eyes to what's really important. And it's you. I celebrate you, and the love you all give me, and each other! And in the spirit of loving one another I'm asking a favor for this big birthday this year. I don't want gifts, (never thought I'd say THAT ) but instead I want help! I am in charge of collecting donations for my church's upcoming golf tournament that will raise money to pay for CHRISTMAS IS NEAR in downtown Tampa this year! Any of you who read my posts regularly know of my love for my church home and the people in our community and this event brings Christmas in all forms to the people of tampa and surrounding areas! Concerts, games, Santa, ice skating, train rides, food trucks, fellowship, and more importantly...the Gospel of Christ and the REAL story of Christmas and it's a free event to anyone and I HIGHLY encourage you ALL to come and party with us! However, our golf tournament need donations of items and/or money, to auction off and help fund what costs my church family around $40,000 each year to put on. Personally, I would like to raise $2,000! If you have ANYTHING, signed sports memorabilia, sporting event tickets, if you own a restaraunt, boutique, spa, car wash, vegetable stand, ANYTHING at all...and would be willing to donate $5 or $25 in a gift card or service of any kind to help me help spread Christmas to the residents of Tampa Bay this year, will you please let me know here and I will contact you! If you have an old gift card laying around you aren't using, or bogo cards for an oil change, I will use it! If you can give me $5 cash or $50 cash...I can assure you - it will help put a smile on the face a child who will hear the story of Christ and experience the love of Jesus this holiday season! And if you want to lend a hand and help us put it on? Be our guest!!! I've got a place for you to help!! Todd will be on stage performing and Lord knows I'm sure I will find my way to the stage for antics of some sort!
