My name is Cordellia Amethyste Rose, and I am the founder and creator of Wild Minds Network, which is a site dedicated to helping people with Maladaptive Daydreaming. I created that site back in 2009, when I agreed to be the unofficial spokesperson for this issue.
I won't lie. The decision to come out was terrifying, but someone had to do it, and it ended up being the best decision I ever made because it led me on a journey of self-discovery and recovery. I created the site because I knew there must be others out there, who, like me, were probably scared and afraid to come out. After 9 years and almost 6 thousand members, I can tell you I was right.
Wild Minds Network has been featured in various publications, and it gives my daydreamers a place to help each other.

Unfortunately, at the end of this month, my host, Ning, is more than doubling my monthly fees, to almost $60 per month. As a person living on Disability, with under $1,000 per month, I simply cannot afford to pay it. It would crush me to let my site members down and close down the site.
With the help of a friend, I am trying to build a new site. The money will go toward the charges of doing so, maintenance, as well as covering the charges of the current site until that can be done.
This is urgent. They will charge me at the end of October, and if I have to pay, I'll have little money left to eat.
