Help Meg Get Back On Her Feet

A warm, heartfelt hello to all of the beautiful, caring souls out there that have sent well wishes and loving messages to myself, Meg and our family through this difficult time.
As many of you know, my little sister Meg was in a horrible car accident on August 15th, 2016. An outpouring of people have been asking about Meg this past few weeks, the extent of her injuries and if she is going to be ok. Although it is going to be a very long road to recovery, we are so extremely lucky to still have Meg with us after such a horrific accident.
Her list of injuries is extensive and include; concussion, dissected carotid artery in her neck, shattered elbow, four broken ribs, internal trauma to her liver, spleen, bladder, kidney and lacerations to her pancreas. She has broken her pelvis, separated her pelvic bone, fractured tibia in her right leg, two broken fibulas, fractures and broken metatarsels in both of her feet and most of her toes.
Although Meg is one of the strongest people I have ever known, and will eventually be able to walk again (doctors say about 8 months with rehab and physical therapy) Meg is obviously unable to work until then. Unfortunately even in times like this, there are still bills to be paid, medical expenses and living expenses that do not pause for the injured.
Through all of the support and love that has been given to Meg, there have also been many of you that have asked how you can help, and even though we cant fix Meg, we can help her live as comfortably as she can. We can help to reduce the level of stress about things like rent, heating bills and food costs while she is healing.
Any donations, any size will help. This means the world to Meg and all of us trying to help Meg through this tough physical and emotional time.
Meg is forever grateful for all of the love and support that everyone has shown her over the past few weeks, and we will continue to keep everyone posted on her and her progress as Meg gets back on her feet..
