Help a NGO with Kids and Dogs Nepal

Right now I am in Kathmandu, Nepal as a volunteer. I help in the Langtang children Home. Here are living 5 Boys right now. Also this is a small Dog sanctuary with actually 8 Dogs. And also the founder pair have a Child Care for disabled children. All in one rented house.
The Man works a lot in two own shops and as a dog trainer.
The Woman take care of the house and everything inside and around.
I as a volunteer help with the children and the dogs.
Now they are looking for an own house and here is why:
Around the house there are many other dogs and when the volunteers are walking with the dogs from langtang, they often will stop and don't want to go on, because it is the beginning of a territory of an other dog.
Also there are much Neighbors who have problems with, that we are walking with our dogs there.
So the ways we can walk with the dogs are really limited.
Also the courtyard, where four dogs are living is to small for the dogs. And also not good for the children to play.
They can't play on the street because of the cars.
The house itself is also not really good for the dogs. There are many stairs and they have less room to walk around.
Also the owner of the house was changing and the Rent is much higher than before.
The Langtanghome lifes from donations and the work from the Man. So they have now a big problem to handle the financial situation.
Also they would never be able to buy an own house by themselfe.
The best would be, when they can buy their own house with enough room for the children and the dogs. With a big garden for the dogs, the really active boys and the disabled children. So that all of them can play outside in a save area and that all of them have enough room.
A house where is not that much trafic in front and better oportunitis to walk with the dogs. They would love to have the oportunity to walk longer ways.
Here I will try to raise enough money for this project, so that they can buy themselfe an own nice house.
All the donated money will go directly to the Langtang Home. If it is more, than the house will cost itselfe I am sure, they can need the money for moving in the new house, for the kids and the dogs.

Ich arbeite gerade als eine Freiwillige in Kathmandu, Nepal im Langtang Kinderheim. Im Kinderheim leben derzeit 5 Jungen. Außerdem ist das Kinderheim auch gleichzeitig ein kleines Tierheim für Hunde. Im Moment leben 8 Hunde hier.
Zusätzlich gibt es auch noch eine Kindertagespflege für Kinder mit Behinderung.
Das alles ist in einem Haus, mitten in Kathmandu.
Das Heim wurde von einem Paar gegründet. Der Mann hat zwei Tierläden und ist Hundetrainer. Er besucht seine Kunden zu Hause. Er arbeitet den ganzen Tag lang. Die Frau kümmert sich um alles im Haus und drum herum.
Die Aufgaben der Volunteers ist die Mithilfe der Betreuung der Kinder und der Hunde.
Und dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Umgebung nicht wirklich gut für Spaziergänge mit den Hunden geeignet ist. Überall außenrum sind andere Hunde und so wollen die Hunde in jede Richtung ziemlich schnell nicht weiter laufen, weil sie dann in das Territorium eines anderen Hundes kommen. Und dazu mögen es viele Nachbarn nicht, wenn wir mit den Hunden an ihrem Haus vorbei gehen.
Auch die Kinder können nicht auf der Straße spielen, weil dort recht viel Verkehr ist.
Das Haus selbst ist zwar groß, besteht aber hauptsächlich aus einem Treppenhaus mit vielen Treppen.
Es ist also nicht für alle Hunde Platz im Haus. So leben drei Hunde auf einer Etage drinnen, vier Hunde auf dem Hof und einer mal hier und mal da.
Auch für die Jungs bietet das Haus wenig Raum zum spielen und toben.
Im Hof können sie auch nicht richtig spielen, weil der schon zu klein für die Hunde ist. Es gibt dort kein Gras. Die Größe ist sowohl für die Hunde als auch für die Jungs zu klein. Und auch die behinderten Kinder können hier nicht richtig spielen.
Als wäre das noch nicht genug, hat der Eigentümer des Hauses (es ist nur gemietet) gewechselt und es hat sich die Miete verdoppelt.
Finanziert wird das alles durch Spenden und die Arbeit vom Mann.
Alleine könnten sie sich nie ein eigenes Haus kaufen und haben jetzt auch Probleme, das jetzige Haus zu finanzieren.
Die Mieten in Kathmandu sind hoch. Ebenso die Preise für Häuser.
Aber die Jungen gehen hier zur Schule, der Mann hat hier seine Läden und seine Kunden und für die Volunteers ist es gut erreichbar.
Hier möchte ich versuchen, für dieses Projekt genug Geld zu sammeln, damit sie sich ein eigenes Haus kaufen können, das einen großen Garten für die sehr aktiven Hunde und Jungen und auch für die behinderten Kinder hat. Einen sicheren Ort zum Spielen. Und das auch an sich groß genug ist, damit Hunde und Kinder genug Platz haben, um im Haus zu spielen und zu leben.
In einer ruhigeren Lage, wo es vielleicht nicht so viele Hunde und Nachbarn gibt.
Alle Spenden gehen an das Langtang Heim. Sollte die gespendete Endsumme mehr sein, als das Haus selbst am Ende kostet, bin ich mir sicher, dass sie das Geld für den Umzug, die Hunde und die Kinder gut nutzen können.

In questo momento mi trovo in Kathmandu, Nepal come volontaria. Presto aiuto nell’orfanotrofio Langtang. Qui vivono attualmente 5 ragazzi. L’orfanotrofio è anche un piccolo riparo per cani. La casa è stata fondata da una coppia. L'uomo ha due negozi di animali e lavora come addestratore di cani. Lavora tutto il giorno. La donna si occupa della casa.
Come volontaria, dò una mano con bambini e cani.
Ora hanno bisogno di trovare una nuova casa perché:
Intorno alla casa ci sono molti altri cani e quando i volontari sono a spasso con i cani di Langtang, spesso questi si fermano e non vogliono andare avanti, perché inizia il territorio di un altro cane. Inoltre per alcuni vicini ci sono problemi se portiamo i nostri cani lì. Per questo motivo le zone in cui possiamo portarli sono molto limitate.
Il cortile dove vivono quattro cani è estremamente piccolo e non è nemmeno adatto ai bambini per giocarci.
I bambini non possono giocare in strada, perché c'è un molto traffico.
La casa è grande, ma è costituita principalmente da scale. Quindi i cani non hanno molto spazio in casa per camminare.
Anche per i ragazzi, c’è poco spazio per correre e giocare.
Come se non bastasse, il proprietario della casa (che è affittata) è cambiato e l'affitto è raddoppiato.
L’orfanotrofio vive grazie alle donazioni e il lavoro dell'uomo. Non potrebbero mai comprare una casa da soli ed ora hanno problemi con il finanziamento della casa attuale.
Gli affitti a Kathmandu sono elevati e lo stesso vale per i prezzi delle case.
Voglio cercare di raccogliere per questo progetto abbastanza soldi in modo che possano acquistare una casa propria, che abbia un ampio giardino e molto spazio in casa per cani e ragazzi e per i bambini disabili. Un luogo sicuro per giocare e in una posizione più tranquilla in cui non ci siano così tanti altri cani e vicini di casa.
Tutte le donazioni vanno all’orfanotrofio Langtang. Se la somma totale donata supera il costo della casa, sono sicura che potranno usare i soldi per il trasloco, per cani e bambini.
