Gary Gladmans Plight
My name is Gary and to put it lightly , I'm dying. I don't know how much longer I have, but all treatment options have been exhausted and the doctor's are trying to make me as comfortable as possible now. I have Inderstitial Lung Disease, Pullmonary Hypertension, CREST Syndrome, Osteoporosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have just had 6 months of chemotherapy and a prostaglandin and Iron infusion which have not been successful. My wife, who is also my carer has Lupus disease and mobility for both us has become a struggle. What we are asking for is help to make our lives a little more comfortable. I am required to be on permanent oxygen, and as such would like to purchase a portable oxygen machine, so that I am able to spend my last days being with my wife, not confined to my bed or couch.
Any additional funds will be put towards repairs to our car. The air-conditioning needs repairs and is quite uncomfortable in our 35oC + days.
Any help is greatly and graciously appreciated, and will help make my time left more comfortable. Thank you for reading.
