 MADISON, ME
On September 16, 2016, Frank Wagg, world famous roofer, took a great fall from his home roof resulting in a life-flight helicopter ride to the trauma unit at CMMC in Lewiston Maine.  After 14 days, all the kings horses and all the kings men put Frank back together again (with a  fractured collarbone and shoulder blade, punctured lung, 7 fractured ribs, multiple broken vertebrae, shattered pelvis and hip all on his left side requiring two major surgeries in order  to roll, sit up, and get out of bed).
Frank has now been taken to acute rehab at MGMC in Augusta Maine for the hardest part of recovery. With a painful left shoulder in the process of healing and no weight bearing or feeling currently with his left leg, wearing his turtle shell at all times, he has a long road ahead of him with limited resources.
After returning home, possibly 10/18, Frank will continue to need 4-5  months of Rehab to get back on his feet and return to normal living. Frank needs all the assistance possible since returning to roofing is not possible until Springtime of 2017 and insurance covers only so much.
If you could help with a message of hope and donation,
the  monies will be used for uncovered medical expenses and alterations to his home. We all appreciate anything that can help and with enormous gratitude, we thank you.

Be sure to watch CBS out of Portland Maine on Thursday, February 2 at 5:30 PM to see a story about our broken roofer. The cost of this accident are higher than you can imagine and surviving day today I can be tough. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated by Frank and his family.
There will be a News Story this Thursday

Frank has made progress to be using a cane putting all his weight on his left leg now, he doesn't have to wear his turtle shell on his torso and he has some more freedoms. Unfortunately he cannot work during this recovery and so Christmas is very lean for him and his family. I'm sure any assistance would be greatly appreciated by him through this humbling experience.

Frank has made enough progress to head home Monday 10/17... with changes made at the house, he can get inside.
We appreciate all the donations and with such a long road ahead, all help is truly appreciated.

Frank is starting to get up and developing routines to get up and organized for the day. Putting on footwear is a very involved process, a task we normally do without thinking. He is making the best of this awful situation and living one day at a time. We are very appreciative of your contributions and thank you with all our hearts.
