I need your help! I am working with the Ohio to Colorado Networking Group, and we are seeking donations and/or volunteer participation for the Denver Zoo Lights Holiday Walk. Program overview:
The Ohio to Colorado Network will be partnering with Valverde Elementary School on December 16, 2016 to conduct the Denver Zoo Lights Holiday Walk. The goal of this outreach program is to benefit the underprivileged school communities of Denver, CO during the holiday season. Our collaborated efforts will entail fundraising, physical gift acquisition, and soliciting of volunteer participation. This event will not be possible without the collaborative efforts of our fellow Ohioan collegiate alumni base, former residences of the heartland state, and current Coloradans. With your help, you can help make a this program a reality.
Due to the cost of this event, we are reaching out to all to donate as much or as little as possible. We expect this event to cost $5,000.00 in total.
The way we will be fundraising are going to be this page, a Give Forward campaign, with also a possible fundraiser at Joy Ride Monthly OhCo Euchre Tournament in Denver. Please keep an eye out for these events and links.
All excess donations we receive after covering costs will be donated directly to Valverde Elementary School for school supplies.
Denver Zoo of Lights Holiday Walk

The OhCo community will be responsible for fundraising, physical gift acquisition, and soliciting volunteer participation. This event will not be possible with out the collaborative efforts of our fellow Ohioan collegiate alumni base in Denver, CO.
Program detail:
With 52 children and their guests (roughly 100), plus all the volunteers (chaperones and OhCo community) of roughly 100. We should anticipate about 200 people. We will be covering the cost of the children and the volunteers to make this night special for each child from Valverde Elementary School.
