On Sunday 10/2 Kizzy escaped her crate at an event at Fuji Park in Carson City and fled the park running scared. The dog is from out of state and everything is unfamiliar to her. Owner Cherie Blossfield is devastated and I have set up the fund as a way to help her with the expense of finding her dog, extending her stay in Nevada and missing work to continue searching and to be able to offer a reward to encourage community help
In finding her. Every little bit helps and we appreciate any little bit you can contribute. For many of us dog enthusiasts this is our biggest fear, to lose our beloved dog while traveling, to be in an unfamiliar place and searching for our best companion. To only to be able to afford to stay for a short time because you live so far away! Help us help Cherie to find her beloved Kizzy.

Last night Cherie and Kizzy were reunited at last! Live traps were placed along the route that she was sighted and The Luer of food was too much for Kizzy to ignore. Kizzy is so happy to be back with Cherie and Cherie is overwhelmed with relief and happiness to have her baby back. They went straight to the vet for a check up and now they can get ready to make the trip home. Thank you to everyone who donated, prayed, sent glowing Bentleys, searched, shared and wished to get Kizzy home. She is back where she belongs!
Together again

After 28 days of being missing completely, Kizzy has been being spotted on a regular basis in a triangulated area for the last three. Kizzy has been missing for a long hard 31 days. She has lost a lot of weight and has gone completely Feral. Between the generosity of the Carson City locals, friends and family as well as everybody who is helped contribute through 'go fund me' , Cherie has been in Carson City and staying there this entire time, looking and searching every single day. The previously raised money has gone to hire drone operators, to help contribute to those helping to search and to help Cherie afford to stay in Carson City. It is been suggested by so many people to hire a tracking dog however a tracking dog would have cost her all of the money that was funded without allowing her to help stay in the area and because there had not been any confirm sightings it was not the best option. However now that Kizzy is being cited on a daily basis and we are able to track some of her movement it is time to see if we can get together enough money to help her with a tracking dog, which is a minimum of $4100.00 on top of the expenses that we have previously help her to cover to stay there and look herself. So now we are trying to help her afford to have a professional tracker come up from Southern California.
Anything that can be contributed would be amazing! Hopefully this week will be the week that kizzy gets to go home! As stated previously any funding over and above what helps to bring Kizzy home Will be paid forward to someone else looking for their dog in a similar situation .

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to help find Kizzy! So far the funds have been able to help hire a tracking dog as well as a drone and drone operator to be able to search some of the vast open space that it is believed that Kizzy is lost in. It also helps with the cost of producing flyers as well as allowing Cherie to stay in Carson city to search herself. As of today there have been a couple sightings that have led to the wrong dog, and there have been a couple potential sightings but no dog to verify it with. It is still believed that she might be loose on the Indian reservation that borders 395, and in this case it is a lot of ground to cover in which case he has the perfect coat and color to blend in making finding her a lot harder. Biggest help right now would be to continue to send positive energy, love and prayers to Cherie during this difficult time as she is incredibly stressed out and heartbroken As well as very very worried about her beloved dog.

Don't give up. My German Shepherd escaped from our motel room in Las Vegas. He was gone for 37 days during June and July 2010. I was fortunate that 2 kind-hearted women in Los Vegas kept up the search for him while I went to my new home in Iowa. Eventually someone got close enough to read my phone number on his collar. We had a very happy reunion!

Even though the dog was lost from Fuji Park, its right its in the Carson City but right next to Douglas county line so the dog could have gone into either county, Be sure to call Douglas animal control 775-782-9061 and file a lost dog report just in case Kizzy was pickup by a finder there. She is not at the Douglas Co shelter as I was there this morning But someone could be holding her. I pray for the best for Kizzy.

I'm so.sorry to hear about your beloved family member and truly hope the best for all of you. Your friends, loved ones , and animal lovers have all stepped up and donated to this most wonderful cause and I am very happy for you. I notice you ha e met your goals rather fantastically. So I thought perhaps you'd like to pay it forward to someone like a retired, disabled veteran and his family. The Wolf and Spiral relief fund or some other good cause. Blessings on your house Thanks for your time

I know you've been back there but I'd see about having someone to watch the last place she was seen. They often will return to that spot and wait for you.
