Cancer get under my Foot!
Donation protected
I am Bill Chesnut. For the past 12 years I have run a business called Quality Computer Service, LLC. In Columbus Ohio. http://www.qcs2.com/
In January of 2016, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and it had entered into the bone.. It had reached stage 4, with a Gleason score of 10. Not good for the average Bear. Luckily, I have a urologist that knows what he is doing. The cancer is under “control”. From January – March, I think, I was trying to collect the Flower Fund .
I am still under chemo and it takes the life right out of you. Between, my family, my friends and employees the business kept running. I wasn’t at the shop much during that time.
I had to lay off all but one part-time employee. Money is scarce. And I am asking, with my 'Hat in hand' for donations to keep my business running for the next year. I would truly love to hire back my employees.
I run a honest business. I do not up-sale. I give my clients information and guide them to what the need, whether they buy from me or not. I have a very loyal customer base. But not everyone needs computer or printer work at the same time.
Currently, I am working about 4 hours a day. I am feeling better and hope to be back to a normal 8 hour day sometime in 2017.
My background is military. I am retired from United States Air Force. I have 22 years of service, from 1968 – 1990. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran.
With your help, I want to keep my business afloat until I can return full time. Right now, I am not physically up to it. Fighting cancer takes a lot out of you. And I will use any funds collected to keep the business running.
But every day, I fight the good fight of faith.
And every day I look for 'Fair skies and Tailwinds'.
But with your help, I will be so grateful. I will be able to continue to support my customers and provide jobs and income for employees and their families. And it helps me to be able to get back to work and let cancer know it can't & won't stop everything.
Sincerely,
Bill
