Tragic loss of a mother & wife

Donation protected
Gulya Kalantarova was born on December 26, 1970 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
She is survived by her mother, Alla, and sister Marina. Her father, Emonuel,
passed on when Gulya was 14 years old. She was married to Robert Morris,
and they have a daughter, Chloe Isabelle, who is 7 ½ years old.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Art Education from the National
School for the Visual Arts in Moscow, Russia (1984-88). Soon after she
received a Master of Arts from the Russian National Institute of Cinematography,
also in Moscow, Russia (1989-95). She began work as an art director in Moscow
during this time as she pursued her Masters, and continued for another year before
she moved to New York City with her mom and sister.
In 1996, she began her American career as an animation artist working for
Sony Pictures in Los Angeles. She continued her long animation career working for
many studios including Nickelodeon, Klasky Csupo (chew-po), Comedy Central,
Walt Disney, and Bento Box. Her titles included Background Painter, Color
Designer, Concept Artist, and Art Director.
She soon met her future husband, Robert and they were married after a long
courtship on December 31, 2007. Chloe Isabelle was born on January 28, 2009,
in Burbank. Gulya, Robert, and Chloe moved to Studio City in the summer of 2013,
a block away from Chloe’s future grade school. In April of 2014, when Chloe was
still in preschool, Gulya was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
Through the following years she continued working off and on, mostly from
home. Her will to live was very strong and beautiful.

Gulya left behind a husband (who currently unemployed) and a beautiful 7 years old Daughter. Through this campaign we intend to help the family to deal with this tragedy and support them financially in their loss.
