A Chicago Young Rising Star was shot down on the 290 Eisenhower Expressway due to road rage that led to gun violence. His name was Johnathan Ortiz, an aspiring rapper, who went by the name of "John Doe". His recent accomplishments was a performance at the House of Blues on September 9th and was booked to open for the Drake and Future concert, October 5th at the United Center. He leaves behind his mother Jacqueline (Jackie) Ortiz and siblings Pedro (Chato), Nicholas (Nikko), Joseph (Joe), Ricky Matos, and Jessica Matos

John's mother Jacqueline is a single mother, who raised her four boys on her own. She is and always will be John's biggest fan. She went to every single one of his shows and always supported his dreams.

We are asking for your support to meet this goal, in order to lay her son to rest. We appreciate any and all support. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. God bless.

Respectfully,
The Ortiz Family
