My name is Joe Manney, and I created this page on behalf of my cousin Trish, who was very seriously injured in a propane fire/explosion on August 19, 2016. She was at a cookout and her life changed, literally in a heartbeat. She remains in critical condition at this time. Anyone that knows Trish knows that she has a tremendous love of life, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Funds raised here will help her two beautiful daughters get set up in a suitable, single-level residence for when Trish comes home from the hospital. They need to get a place as soon as possible where they can all live together, along with her sweet little granddaughter, and Trish will be able to get around easily (not the case right now with their current living arrangements). The cost of first month’s rent and security deposit, as well as moving expenses, are the most urgent needs at this point. Trish will also need new bedding when she comes home. Any additional funds raised once they are settled will be used towards her extensive recovery and rehabilitation.
Expectation for recovery and rehab is that she will be in the hospital for 3-4 months, and is looking at 30 or more surgical procedures over the course of the next few years.
