Chicora PBIS

We are Chicora School of Communication  located in North Charleston, SC. Chicora is a Title I school where all our students receive free breakfast and lunch. The mission of the faculty and staff at Chicora School of Communications is to eliminate barriers that have caused doubt, low self-esteem, and poor academic and social performances in our students. We further commit to meeting this mission by providing outreach and community partnerships that will meet the needs of our families and school community.  

 Due to budget cuts in Charleston County, the school is unable to provide the materials needed to promote positive behaviors. Chicora practices a Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) . Our goal with PBIS is to encourage students in a positive way through incentives. We are in need of prizes to fill our PBIS school store where the students can use “Blue Eagles” to shop. The students can receive blue eagles when showing the correct expectations in the classroom, hallways and at recess.

Any donation to Chicora’s PBIS will go straight back to our students. Thank you for your support.
