Braxton (Bucky) David Taylor was born on August 13, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV to Zak and Brenda Taylor. He died on September 23, 2016 in Kaysville, UT at the much-too-young age of 19. He lived in Kaysville for most of his life. An alum from Kaysville Elementary, Kaysville Junior High, and NUAMES, he was attending Weber State University as a Business major, where had life allowed him time his keen mind would have led him to succeed in any endeavor he chose. He worked at the Forever 21 at Station Park in Farmington.

Bucky enjoyed filling his time with art and music. He loved fashion and was known for his unique and adorable style. He also loved going out with his friends, whether it was for shopping, rock climbing, or getting treats. His friends and family know him as quick witted, fun, creative, and happy. His example of loyalty, generosity, and selflessness will be forever imprinted in their hearts. His brothers, Cooper and Cameron, were his lifelong pals. They were inseparable from the start and their laughter filled their home with joy. He adored and cared for his little sister, Izzy. It wasn’t uncommon to find them dancing, working on art projects or going out on dates together. His best friend was his mom. He would take her on dates and the two of them could be heard talking and giggling into the wee hours of the morning. He loved the time he spent working with his dad and treasured the invaluable life lessons and crude jokes he learned from him. He had an old soul and collected old typewriters and cameras. Bucky personally called himself “Spinster Chic.” He will forever be remembered for his great hair, infectious smile, bright blue eyes, contagious laughter, and perfect hugs.

Braxton is survived by Zachary Taylor (Father), Brenda Olsen Taylor (Mother), Cameron and Cooper Taylor (Brothers), Izzy Taylor (Sister), Jeffrey and Debra Olsen (Grandparents), Nadine Taylor (Grandmother), Lois Hufstetler (Great Grandmother), aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

He is preceded in death by Stan Hufstetler (Great Grandfather) and Val Taylor (Grandfather).

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville.
