Music City Legend Eddie Pleasant

89 year old Eddie Pleasant has been a staple of Music City for the past 50 years.  He was most famously Hank Williams Jr.  right hand man  next to Merle Kilgore and handled all of Bocephus's Merchandise for almost 30 years. This true modern day Forrest Gump has never drank, used cuss word's or smoked in his 89 years.  He helped pioneer the "Rock N Roll"  T-Shirt with Buddy Lee and it's worth noting he has  written songs for Lefty Frizzell,  Charley Pride,  Jim Reeves,  Hank Williams Jr.,   Hank 3  and many more.  Eddie has always been known in the business as too generous and found it in his nature to help out struggling people,  mostly musicians along his way.  Conway Twitty sideman L.E White came home after Church one Sunday to find enough crimpled cash to save his house from foreclosure. People like Marty Stuart, Hank Jr,  Hank 3, Ken Mellons, Andy Griggs,  Mike Curb, Buddy Cannon, Nick Hoffman, Billy Alcorn  and many more could tell you a real life  Eddie Pleasant story.  Eddie will turn 90 in June of 2017 and is struggling to  pay rent and other bills at his Summer Estates Apartment across from the Hendersonville, Tn Hospital.  It's time we help out our 89 year old brother who has devoted his life to helping others.
