John Charles McLean memorial fund

This fund is to help Laura, John's soul mate and wife of over 30 years. We just lost John to a senseless act of gun violence for which the investigation is still ongoing.

I have known John and Laura since they moved to this area when my daughter who is now 15 was just a baby (sweaty baby). He was like a brother to many including myself. He was extremely intelligent, witty (or wise ass), free spirited, and would give you the shirt off his back. He loved to have a good time and wanted to share that with all around him. We had enjoyed a lot of time at the J&L Lounge along with many tasty Boston Butt parties. Halloween tradition for my kids was always to stop (usually last stop) and visit at the end of the night, of course getting extra candy. We loved and still love all their furry animals as if they were our own.

Laura is like a sister to me. Everyone's help is appreciated to aid her as she tries to plan her future without her lifelong companion and may face ongoing legal battles and fees for a final justice of this horrific act. I have joined with John and Laura's friends from the neighborhood to put together this site.
