Help Victims of 9/22 Crash on 422!

Donation protected

I'm creating this campaign on behalf of the 422 Sucks page and their admin Derek. He wanted to do something for the family involved in this past Thursday's accident on 422 in Upper Providence.

As many of you know, a stepfather and stepson were badly injured in the accident. The stepson had run out of gas and was on the shoulder, and the stepfather had stopped to help him out. A tow truck even pulled over with flashing yellow lights to warn people on the highway. While they were putting gas in the car, a driver coming down the highway did not pay attention to the warnings and hit both of the men. The stepfather had to be airlifted from the scene, and they're both facing numerous surgeries and months of physical therapy.

The latest update from the mother/wife as of 9/25 is as follows:

"I had thought at that the time my hubby had 2 broken legs and my son 1 .. But turns out my son had 1 severe severe broken leg, major surgery and the other leg is crushed.  My hubby had 1 leg with an extremely bad open wound/ broken leg, and has 2 more surgeries coming soon.. My son is pending.. This is only a small portion of the injuries, it's gonna be a long year to come. Both will be in the hospital for awhile yet."

They wish to have their names kept out of this due to the ongoing accident investigation, but I have direct contact with the wife/mother, as well as the aunt and a family friend, so feel free to reach out to me or Derek if you'd like to verify this campaign as 100% legit or if you have any questions at all.

Let's show our support for this family and help them get through this horrible time!

Thanks in advance,
