Support Mark and His Two Daughters

Mark Burnett went into the hospital Friday evening with his wife of 5 years, Megan Burnett (Phillips), to deliver their second child. It was supposed to be a joyful day for the couple filled with love and happiness. Tragically, it quickly turned into anyone’s worst nightmare when Megan began to suffer from health complications and Mark was quickly rushed out of the delivery room.
Sadly, Megan, a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to many, passed away that evening, leaving behind her husband, their 3 year old daughter Brynlee, and the newborn baby she was unable to meet.
The doctors were able to save baby, and she was airlifted to the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, where she is now fighting for her life. Megan and Mark were going to name their new daughter Autumn Rose, but Mark has now decided to name her Autumn Desiree after her mom.
Mark, who has been member of the RCMP for 8 years, is now facing the tremendous challenge of raising his two young daughters without his best friend and wife.
Mark (32 yrs) and Megan (33 yrs), who grew up North Battleford, started dating over ten years ago and were married five years later in 2011. They had their first daughter in 2013 and were just recently transferred to Nipawan Saskatchewan after being previously stationed in both Loon Lake and Melfort SK.
Mark’s friends have created this gofundme account to help show both emotional and financial support to their very dear friend. This is a way we can stand beside Mark and his young family. Not only in the weeks ahead with his newborn daughter in neonatal care, but also in future years as he will be raising his two beautiful daughters with the support of his family and friends.
