Elliot's Medical Conditions

Hi, I'm Brandi Wells, writer and cat lover. My cat of 11 years, Elliot, has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and anemia. He's lost several pounds and his anemia is increasing. I've paid for insulin, a series of bloodtests, ultrasounds, x-rays, and other tests. Recently his red blood count has dropped dangerously low and he refuses to eat food at home (the anemia causes nausea). So the vet is installing a feeding tube. Because of his diabetes and his underweight status, he can't miss meals. They're starting a round of antiobiotics which they hope will cure his anemia. The diabetes isn't severe, so if he can just get over this anemia, he's the sort of cat who generally goes into remission, so he could still lead a completely normal and full life.
My vet bills at this time total $5000. I realize this is a lot of money, but it's been paid in bit and parcel, and each time I hoped this would be what helped him turn things around.
I need assistance. I need help. I don't want to give up now, but I've depleted my funds. Any money I receive would go to pay for future testing, bloodsugar testing, and other bills as he recovers.
Anyone who knows me knows how central my cat is to my life. I want to do everything I can to ensure his recovery. I would be deeply thankful of any help at all on this front.
