Pitt Party Of 5
The 1st week of July 2016, my sister's husband was in a devastating car crash. If it weren't for the stars aligning at the right time, Seth would no longer be with us. At the time of the accident, the first responders were there instantly to get him breathing again and transported to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, by far the best place Seth could have been taken to. He suffered a severe brain injury and the right side of his face/skull was crushed. He remained in the ICU with a 50/50 chance of pulling through. Well, the impressive WF team worked their magic and in late August, Seth was released. However, as of now he has been rendered disabled. The facial injury caused him to lose the ability to see out of his right eye. He must use a walker or wheelchair to get around, go to intense rehabilitation classes, and returning to work is not an option for him. I am making this Go Fund Me page because Seth was the sole income provider at the time of the accident. My sister was a stay-at-home mom to their 3 children, ages 15, 9 and 5. My sister's fulltime job aside from being mom has now been to take the role of fulltime care provider for Seth, as he needs assistance 24hrs a day. After the accident, family members stepped up to care for the children, neighbors tended to yardwork, bought bags of back to school supplies, food, meals, etc. They were amazing. The savings that were in the bank have now been depleted on bills. Family has stepped in to take care, as much as they can to pay for the mortgage, insurance, car payment, utilities, etc. Anything would help right now. The mortgage co.will not work with my sister, the car lender doesn't care, utilities can't wait...she is at their mercy to keep the household going to keep a roof over the family of 5.
Anything, absolutely anything would be so intensely appreciated at the moment and while they can try to carry on a normal life, hopes are that Seth one day returns to the hardworking man that he once was. Thank you for reading.
