Luke's Study Abroad Journey

Hello! My name is Luke, and I'm raising money to help fund my study abroad trip next semester. I'm a junior at the University of Central Missouri majoring in international studies and political science. Being able to study abroad has always been a dream of mine especially since I have never been outside the U.S. This journey will enable me to gain firsthand experience of the world around me as well as allowing me to be even more independent! Now where exactly will I be studying, you might ask? It's not set in stone yet, but as of right now, I have applied for 3 programs in Brussels, Leiden (Netherlands), and Prague. However, I can tell you that Brussels is my #1 choice! Brussels is essentially the heart of Europe, and if I study there, I could potentially intern at the European Union which would just be amazing! I've been envisioning what it would be like to live and study in Brussels, and it makes me even more determined than ever to study hard to help make my study abroad experience even more rewarding! Another reason I started this campaign is due to financing concerns. This is going to be my most expensive semester of college, and I will be paying out-of-pocket for it. Let me tell you, it's definitely not cheap! The money raised will go toward my tuition and housing costs for the semester as well as my passport, visa application, and flight.
