Not too long back my friend Debra Tepe created a GoFundMe for myself, as my twins
faced some complications that resulted in a hospitalization. She was the first one to say "let me do it - you need the help just take it already!" That was Deb, always looking out for the best interest of everyone. A true mama bear, first and foremost came those beautiful babies of hers. I woke up to some tragic news today, news that this very friend of mine had passed away.

We lost a sister, mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and great granddaughter but heaven gained an amazing and beautiful angel. We love you soooooooo much Debra Tepe and we will miss you. Watch over your beautiful babies and your family and friends and we will see you again. I don't know how something like this can happen. She went in for what she thought was a hernia and when they went to do the CT scan they gave her the contrast for it and it made her have an anaphylactic reaction and she coded. She ended up coding a total of 4 times between being in the ER and being transported to the icu and while in the icu. she had a very small pulse and after that and some unsuccessful treatments they told us she was losing the battle. At roughly 2:15 she coded again. Efforts to save her didn't work. My sister is gone. She was a beautiful person. She came through a childhood most of us couldn't dream of. She educated herself, she had 4 beautiful babies. She is gone. Please send prayers and thoughts. We will need them. Pray for her babies, who lost their mommy. Pray for our family as we pick up the pieces of our lives and her children's lives and try to find a new happy. Pray for us all. We love you and will miss you more than you know Debi. Fly with the angels now and say hi to great-grandpa Hays and great-grandma Schankey for us. All of the love, support, thoughts and prayers that my family has received is insurmountable. The passing of my oldest sister very early this morning has been an extremely difficult concept to comprehend. After fighting for hours, her body was simply too tired to continue. Thank you everyone for all your kind words.
Nothing could have prepared for that outcome and as you can see she has four beautiful children who now need the support. The money will go to whatever her family needs it for - whether that be medical expenses, cost/care for the children, preparing savings for the kids, literally anything that CAN be covered in a time as tragic as this. She was selfless and always put others first, I ask that you use this time to act as she would. Think of her babies, of anyway Deb impacted your life and please help her, her babies and her family out. She lived, breathed and acted on all choices that would give those babies a better life, in her absence I ask you to PLEASE think of them, no matter how big or small - any amount will help her family. For the woman that would pull together to help a complete stranger, it's our turn to help her and her littles. Rest in Heaven Deb, I love you, we all love you to the moon and back.
