Wishes for Annabelle
It has just come to our attention that a very wonderful family is in need of our community support.
Three weeks ago, eight-year-old Annabelle started feeling fatigued, pale and feverish. After a few doctors’ visits it was decided yesterday, September 21st that Annabelle is suffering from Leukemia. Her and her mother flew down to Vancouver Children’s Hospital right away and left behind her 6-year-old sister and father.
They’re at Children’s today ,September 22 undergoing diagnostic tests and the results came back positive for Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. At this time they are not too certain as to what the future holds for Annabelle and her family.
We are asking for your support in donating to help this family with travel, accomodation and food for the next month or so while they are fighting though this difficult time. Anything helps!
Thank you in advance for your wishes and donations, every cent means less to worry about for them.
Annabelle is a cousin to my grandchildren, Colben & Vera Hulland of Riondel. Annabelle and her sister, Cassidy, live in Nelson and our families have a tradition of making sure that the next generation spend time together and get to know each other...a tradition begun by my mother, Daphne Byatt, and our dear aunt, Ruth Tyler. I am just hoping for & working toward & praying for another sunny afternoon together as a family on the shores of Kootenay Lake. Thank you all for your help!
