In March, Pickles was had an accident.
He got out in a storm and 3 minutes from home I get a call from the vets.... we have Pickles and he has been hit by a car! My heart broke into a million pieces!
He totally ruptured his cruciate ligament, torn his ligaments around his knee cap, dislocated knee cap. Vet did a TPLO where they cut his bones to replace the ligaments.
His front left arm has no movement from nerve damage we are also looking at amputation.
He was overweight vet said he will struggle as a 3 legged staffy. I did not think he would be. He is such a happy boy I need to give him every chance.
He has been doing so well, he lost 10kgs, walks with me on the lead down the road, jumps on the lounge, can go up and down stairs.
We went out this morning, came home to blood and what ever everywhere, he had chewed his front left paw off completely. He had no feeling in it and chewed the paw off. Rushed him to the emergency vets, he will need to get his arm amputated. The cost of just the surgery is $3500. We just dont have this right now, we are trying to raise money any way we can.
Pickles is such a loving boy who loves his humans. I want to give him so much love and give him a chance to recover.
Seeking any donation - big or small, anything would be an amazing help, I just feel so sick for him right now.
