Samantha Le - Funds for an Angel

Nothing prepares you for this. My sister, Samantha Le, was brutally murdered on September 17th 2016. She wasn't prepared for this. Samantha was not only my sister but my friend. Despite living on different coasts, we spoke almost daily. We were focussed on our families, our mother , our brother. We rooted for each other, we helped each other. We loved each other.

None of us were prepared for this. I got a phone call telling me Sam was dead but I did not know where her daughter Angel was. I pulled myself together and started the phone calls to find Angel. She wasn't prepared for this. Once I knew she was safe, I knew I had to go and get my mother to tell her. I figured out how to pay for flights to the West Coast and went to tell my mother of the journey we would begin the next day. She wasn't prepared for this.

My sister Sam- whom I always said was Mother Theresa with a little side of party thrown in- is gone. She could not have prepared for this.  She thought she had decades of living left. She thought she would see her daughter grow up. She thought she had time to prepare for the future.

Sam always told me I never knew when to ask for help. People are asking me how they can help. I have decided, that the best way to honour Sam is to ask for help. To help us prepare for this. Sam had no life insurance, no savings. She wanted a bright future for her daughter Angel.

So please, donate. This will help cover the costs of Sam's funeral. This will help us provide for Angel.
