Brecon Integrated Sports Association (BISA) is an association very close to my heart. They run two clubs on a weekly basis that provide facilities for children and young adults with learning and physical disabilities to participate in various sports. There are two qualified level 2 coaches, but the clubs rely heavily on fundraising and a rota of parents and students to volunteer.
Being a parent and a volunteer at the junior club, I can see how important this club is to everyone that participates or gives up their time for these children, it would be such a shame if my daughter and many other children were unable to take part in these sports just because of their differences. Please even if you can only give £1, it will help!

BISA has been running since 2002 and provides all year round training and events in the Brecon area of Powys. Affiliated to Special Olympics , three of the members have represented Great Britain in the World Summer Games in 2011 Athens and 2015 Los Angeles and many more in regional and National events.
The club offers opportunities to take part in Trampolining, Indoor Athletics, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Boccia, Kurling, table tennis and short tennis.
It is open to all disabilities, and specifically caters for children and young people.
During the holidays, outdoor activity days are offered in Sailing, Canoeing and Horse Riding, all which take place in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The target goal is set for £1,500 and if we get anything near that, both myself, the children and BISA will be extremely grateful. All children deserve to learn and enjoy sports, not just because they are the fastest or most skilled. Sports and games aren't just for winning!
