We unfortunately are here again where police have shot another innocent black man because "he posed a threat". This can no longer be tolerated it's time to take a stand! On Tuesday 9/20/2016 Keith Lamont Scott was shot reportedly 4 times while reading a book and waiting for his son to get off the bus. He has sadly been taken away from his wife Rakeyia Scott and 7 children and family who love him dearly. I am a cousin of the family who is trying to raise money for his wife and children and try and cover funeral costs. We can't keep letting police take away our innocent black men from their families the time is now to stand up and support Black Lives! Please donate what you can to help this family in this very sad time! And please lift up prayers for their family as well! Justice will prevail!

P.S please be RESPECTFUL in the comments we need positivity not negativity in this unfortunate time thank you and stay blessed!

Scott Palmer a family is grieving the unnecessary loss of a loved one. Seriously, fuck off. There's been NO confirmation of the man having a gun and even IF he did there's not an open season on armed black men in this country that I'm aware of! Citizens in this country are allowed to own guns REGARDLESS of skin color. According to the family he had a BOOK. NOT a GUN. Countless white men with guns get peacefully arrested, so explain to me why him having a gun justifies his murder? Have a seat. Have several fucking seats.

I CAN'T believe some of these comments. Donate, or move on. These people have lost their loved one. Regardless if he had a gun or not, he didn't have to be killed. I don't care what race the officer was that shot him. A white man killed a church full of people, was armed, arrested without incident, and taken to Burger King for a meal. Everyone has their opinion, in which we are ALL entitled to. But until you've been BLACK.....YOU WILL NEVER FULLY UNDERSTAND. Excuses need to stop. I pray strength for this family.

Its RIDICULOUS that these FOOLS came on here to degrade this family after they have loss a loved one. She didn't demand you to give, she asked. What she didn't ask for is all this disrespect and speculations. I'm sure none of you are in Tulsa so please leave this family alone and keep your hateful judgmental, racist comments to yourself. There NOT needed here.

You know what none of this matters. To post a gofundme maybe not take your anger and hate on it. Maybe post that he has 7 kids that may need some financial help now that they have no father . I'm sure there is some video confirming the truth. Maybe let's allow his kids to morn their father.

I'm sorry, there is no justification for killing this man at all! He was not even the person they were looking for!! He was in his car waiting for his son to get off a school bus for God's sake!! Even if he had a gun, that is not the point here!! He is dead for no reason!! How insensitive are you people on here!! This is not some movie. We are talking about real people that lost their father and a woman that lost her husband and is now a widow. There is no justification for what happened to this man. The police were undercover and in plain clothes, not uniforms!!! What would you do if you were in your car and some people approached you without a uniform on!! You might think they were criminals trying to carjack or mug you!! Also they shot him four times!! You don't shoot someone four times unless you want them dead!! Pay a little respect to the family here. The police were wrong. They made a mistake, a deadly one. That will forever impact the lives of the Scott family.

This is another unspeakable, heinous murder. No question in my mind about it. People on here degrading Keith L. S. and his family ought to be ashamed. I grieve in my heart for Keith Lamont Scott's family, and I hope that we can find a way to start holding police officers accountable for their brutalities and murders. It is disgraceful that so many citizens in this country are so brainwashed by media&police narratives that they will project hate and disdain towards people who are suffering a tragedy. Wake up.....the cops planted the guns, you fools.

I love how all you morons are so adamant about the alleged gun. Using capital letters and multiple exclamation marks. As if you were there. None of you people in this comment section were present during this killing. ALL your information is coming from outside sources. If you don't want to donate, thats fine but don't come here spewing your hateful words while a family is in the midst of morning the loss of a loved one. Especially when you have NO IDEA if what your saying is truth or not.

I am truly sorry for your loss. It breaks my heart to see such violence and hatred in our nation. It also saddens me to see that you are using your voice to incite anger rather than mourn and rally for peace and solidarity. I encourage you to review your narrative and use this as a platform to help support his family and nothing more. The facts will come out eventually and when they do that's when people should have their opinions heard. In the meantime, please use your current platform for something good. The longer this goes on the more lives are at risk; black, white, police, military, civilian - LIVES at risk. You and your family have the ability to help stop the senseless acts of violence happening as a result of this tragedy. When the time comes and the facts are made public, you will be able to again use your platform to be heard. Please do so thoughtfully. My prayers are with all those involved and affected.

People who are not affected have no idea of what a person of color has to deal with it go through. The cops will say anything to prove us wrong we have seen time and time again how the cops have lied on a person of color right before our own eyes. The question that should be asked is why are the cops even approaching us to begin with so they start out with a lie. For years the cops have planted weapons or drugs in a person. Why was this man even approached the and the answer is always the same because of the color of his skin. This situation is still a racist hate crime against people of color because the cops who are not white are programmed to be against their own just like in slavery. Cops who have this hate in them are just evil and need Jesus Christ. This is such a disgrace to human life.
