My name is Jena Albers.
I am the President of a student orginization at Ohio University called Bobcats of the Shelter Dogs. We raise money for the dogs in the Athens county dog shelter, help them get adopted, pay for medical bills, etc.
Earlier today, some of my fellow Ohio University Students found four stray kittens by West Green on campus. They looked and looked for the mama, but eventually had to give up and relize these poor little 6 week old kitties were left alone to fight their way through life.
But these concerend students couldn't leave those poor kittens alone. They did what any animal lover would do. Scoop them up, take them home, and go from there.
Thats where you come in. We are looking to raise $600 to pay for vet bills, food, and supplies until we can find a long term foster and eventually a home for these little guys. Each kitten will cost $60-90 just for the first vet visit, flea treatment, and overall checkup. A few of them have very infected eyes that will also need treatment.
