I don't want to become homeless

If you've read my blog, Queen of Styles blog, you know that I cover style, beauty, cocktails...the fun stuff.
The only time I insert myself into an article is when I'm giving an opinion on a product I've road tested. Some of you may know that I used to be an editor for BettyConfidential. Some of you may know that I started this blog whilst I was job hunting. It kept me focused and in touch with what's going on.
I love doing this blog, I miss being part of an editorial team and hope that one day I can join one.
There's a very good chance that I will have to shut this blog down in a few days, because I may become homeless.
I need a miracle. As some of you know, I've been struggling with paying rent and I'm going to be homeless on 4/24.
Here's what happened--This is from my tumblr-
I lost my job at BettyC and have been job hunting since.I got behind in my rent and went to HRA to get a "one shot" deal to pay back rent. There I was told that I shouldn't be there and needed to get money from my family. When I explained to the woman that everyone was dead, she repeated the line anyway. She asked me how I could pay future rent, I told her that I had freelance gigs and could. She got her supervisor over and both of them stood over me and told me I was lying and they would deny me. At no time I was there, was I asked to write a personal statement explaining my side of the story.
After I left (somewhat hysterically crying), I went to Assemblyman Keith Wright's office, they said they'd help. I was told that I had been "railroaded" and they would help me get the situation straightened out and that I could get the one shot deal. That was on February 6. I've contacted the office many times.
When I had to go to housing court, I had a letter from the Assemblyman's office stating that they were assisting me in getting the one shot deal. So I signed an agreement thinking that by then, I'd be okay. Since housing court, I've paid my March and April's rent, I have money for May's rent, and have been waiting to hear from the Assemblyman. The assistant kept ducking my calls, I finally heard from him Monday. At one point in our many, many conversations with the ofice, I was told that HRA was starting an investigation and because of that, what happened to me would not happen to anyone else. Guess what? That wasn't the truth. On Monday I was told that I was the one investigated and they said I had money, Yes, I had money. I had told the HRA and the assemblyman's office that I was getting money to pay future rent, but needed help to pay back rent.
Unless a miracle happens, I'm going to have to give up Sophie, my dog and hit the streets. I'm serious, I am going to become Homeless on April 24. My heart is aching, I've done everything I could and believed that my assemblyman could help me. Now I'm going on the streets.
I'm probably the only person I know who could go into a job interview on Tuesday and then find out the site's shutting down on Thursday.
A friend of mine suggested this afternoon (4/22) to ask for donations to raise the back rent I owe. It's a little over $7000. If you care to donate something, anything, even a dollar so that I and my dog Sophie won't go homeless I would appreciate it.
I would never have posted anything like this unless I was in seriously dire straits.
