Saving Our Best Friend's Life
Today we go to a vet 30 minutes away vs. the very difficult hour and a half distance that had been between us. He will have to continue this outpatient for at least a week. If all goes well, in 2 weeks he will have his final surgery to remove the staples. We maxed out the $5,000 care credit limit and we will now switch over to the donations for his outpatient stay and care, staple removal surgery, and medications. Let me tell you how hard it is to give a pup 2 giant pills and 2 regular size ones...he is now on an antibiotic, tramadol, and trazadone 3 times a day. Needless to say we have already went through half a jar of peanut butter. :)
I'd like to thank everyone again who has helped in any way, whether it be donations or sharing our campaign. You are helping us in more ways than you'll ever know. Please continue to spread the word and if at all possible, a small donation. Every penny counts in keeping him in receiving the best care possible. God bless you all and thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!
With love and gratitude,
Try applying to this charity, they help out in situations like this, I don't know their criteria, but it has to be worth a try. It's called the Boo Tiki Fund and here is the link to their website: http://bootikifund.org/index.html Good luck, I hope and pray he will be ok!!!
Hi. How is Chase doing now?
Also, imom.org is a great resource for getting funds for a veterinary issue.
I hope you posted and made public the name of your vet and his/her practice. That is absolutely deplorable!
Thank you everyone that continues to donate and/or share and to the ones that already have. We are not out of the woods yet but every day and with each person's involvement in Chase's recovery, we are getting there. There are no words to express how thankful we are. God Bless
Omg.. If I owned a credit card or had my own money (im 14), I would donate soo much! :(
