Scott's funeral expense memorial

On Sept 13, 2016, my step dad passed away. He was on a waiting list for a kidney replacement. He had been going to dialysis 3 times a week after surviving his kidneys failing back in 2013. On the 13th he was at his normal dialysis visit and about halfway through his cleansing he lost consciousness and the doctor worked diligently to save his life and did succeed temporarily. After about a half hour or so Scott lost consciousness again and then again he was saved, about an hour had passed and he slipped back into unconciousness and the doctors were unable to resuscitate him and at that moment my family was hit with the burden of not knowing the next step, I spent the day pricing out different funeral homes and different options, I would love to send him off with a respectable funeral and I do have some money in my savings but it is not enough to cover the expenses, we are asking all friends and family for any assistance we can get to help us through this difficult process. The price for the cremation is going to be about $1500 plus taxes. I created this fund to help my sister and our family out with the expenses of this situation. Scott didn’t have any type of life insurance nor did he have a will or any written last wishes. When you donate please share a memory of Scott, thank you.
