On the early evening of August 24th in less than 5 minutes our dear neighbors saw thier house go up in flames.  Erin, Chris, their son Finn (6) and their daughter Mallory (5) stood together thankful that they were safe but in shock as their house turned black then red. The look on their faces are unforgettable.

They lost evey possesion, everything.  But yet sweet Finn had the courage to thank all the Chagrin Valley
firemen(and there were many) as they arrived on the scene.  Bless them all.

I write as the firemen continue to do their work and the lights still flash.  The Cobles are safe and staying with family but they have a long road ahead, please help them rebuild.

Finn is in 1st grade, Mallory is to start Kindergarten tomorrow.  Anything is welcome and we will be accepting any clothing, etc. at 140 High Street - feel free to drop them off on our back proch.

A perfect day to say thank you to all who supported the Cobles' over the past 9 months. They have been able to start a new with the help of all of you! "It takes a village" they say, and no doubt our village surpassed it all. Your kindness, support, love and messages made us all family. The Cobles' now have a new place to call home. Home is definitely were the heart is and our community definitely kept the beat through it all. God bless and THANK YOU!!

Wow...this has been so humbling. The Cobles can't thank you enough on how gracious you all have been - near and far! Your support has given them strength to move forward and start again.
They have found a temporary home as they continue to take the steps to rebuild (both physically and mentally), they honestly could not have done this without knowing so many of you had their backs. The strength of human kindness is amazing. Thank you and bless you all for reaching out.

The Coble family is beside themselves with the outpouring of generosity that has come out of this community and beyond. 47K in 3 days - just unbelievable!!!

All are doing well and being energized by the positive energy that has surrounded them. They are grateful beyond words.

And thank you for all the drop offs - with the amazing generosity of you all they have moved forward each day with the little things you have so graciously donated.

At this point they no longer need items as they begin to piece back a personalized life. The Cobles plan to pay it forward and donate extra items to CASA, Chagrin Park, Womens Safe and Edna House.

Again, thank you ALL for your amazing support! The road ahead will be tough but they know know they are prepared for the journey thanks to you. God Bless!
