Betty’s Fight Against Cancer

Betty Yarnovich is my grandmother who is fighting bladder cancer. Betty is a young 71 years old who was recently struck by bladder cancer.

After surviving a brain tumor at 13 years old, burying my pap, burying my mom, and losing her sister to cancer, Betty went on to raise me. She is the most resilient person I have ever met, and she is tougher than nails. Betty gave up everything to raise me. For the past 16 years, it has just been me and her. My father died before I was born, and my mother died when I was 3 years old. Betty made it her responsibility to raise me and put me through college. With a little over 1 year left at West Point, it would mean the world to my grandmother if she could make it to my West Point graduation and see me commission as an officer in the United States Army.
After her removal of her bladder and other parts, the cancer spread. Now, with the long fight against the cancer and several trips to the hospital because of complications, she is having a very difficult time paying for her treatment.
These funds will be used to help her continue her treatment in order for her to live several more years and enjoy her life. She is a young 71, and she has a lot of life left to live. Her biggest motivator is me, and she would be happy if she could simply make it another year to see me graduate from college.
At 21 years old, she is all I have left. If you can, please help us raise some money to continue this fight against cancer.
