Keith's Medical expenses

Hi,my name is Keith Biscanti.I am a delivery professional at McKesson medical-surgical.I am trying to raise money to defray medical expenses for a major surgery  and loss of income while recuperating.What was formerly a simple spinal disc fusion in my neck became more complicated by a CT scan showing that some spinal ligaments in my spinal canal were ossifying or turning to bone.This is something that has to be removed so it doesn't affect my spinal cord and made surgery much more difficult.I am now refered to a major university hospital,Penn State Hershey, for the surgery as it is not possible to do it locally due to that complication.I am trying to raise the funds for the surgery as my insurance out of pocket max is 4,650 and I will not receive full paychecks while on disability for the 12 weeks of recovery.I still have another consultation with the new surgeon at Hershey before I can find out about a surgery date(I am guessing mid to late October) so I am going to try now to raise funds and hope I can be operated on before the year is over.
This fund raiser means a lot to me,it was not easy to do as I have always prided myself on being able to find a way to pay for emergencies but now even I have realized that I need some help during this time as living paycheck to paycheck,taking care of my 74 year old motherhasfinally stretched me to my limits finanacially.
I will be forever grateful to those who can donate or pass on the word and I hope that in the future I can pay it forward to those in need when I have extra to give.
