Hi. My name is Cami, and I'm asking for your help.

I was born with a myriad of medical problems, including hydroencephalitis, scoliosis, a heart murmur, and one kidney. As I've gotten older, all of these have compounded each other, and I'm now looking at more health issues and fewer resources, both material and emotional, to combat them. Our medical insurance has gotten more expensive recently, our out-of-pocket co-pays are much higher, and our pharmacy costs have increased exponentially.

But I shall survive those, too. I've survived foster care, a failed adoption, child abuse, rape, homelessness, and mental health issues, all in 42 years.

I need to refill six of my medications in the next couple of days. And we have nothing left in our account, because we just barely managed to pay rent for March. I know that many of you have already helped us get this far, and we're so very grateful. If you cannot give, at least share this so that maybe someone else will step up. 

I have survived this long because of my family and friends. I am constantly amazed at the outpouring of love and support that comes to us from unexpected sources in our day-to-day lives, and I'm hoping that some of that can translate into financial support when we need it most.
