Our rescue dog & love of our life, Stella, a 3 ½ yr. old American PItbull Terrier was born with defects in her bone knee joints which has now caused ruptured ligaments.
From the diagnosis just two weeks ago, her condition is rapidly declining.
With both bone defects & ligament issues, surgery is almost certain; one knee at a time, the procedure is a double TPLO and will be a long & challenging process followed by physical therapy and very limited mobility.
Each surgery with healing time is a good two month process.
We are exploring all options, surgical, swim therapy, holistic treatments, and 2nd, 3rd opinions.
No matter what course of treatment is determined, the expense is monumental, our initial surgeon’s fee is $7,200.00.
We ask for the kindness of friends & strangers for donations to help save our baby girl.
